What is the Summer Grand Prix?
The Essex Super Series Summer Grand Prix is a Friday night competition built around fast, competitive darts.
Players start in a Swiss league format, giving everyone multiple matches and a fair chance to progress. After the league stage, the event moves into knockout games, where the weekly winner is decided.
It is designed to be competitive, watchable, and accessible — with every match played over a short, sharp best of 3 legs format.

The Swiss stage means players are matched fairly as the night progresses, before the top performers move into the knockout section.

Winning matches is the main goal, but bonus points can make a big difference across the night.
2 points for every win.
One bonus point available for hitting 180s.
One bonus point available for bull finishes.
One bonus point available for finishes of 100+.
This rewards not only match wins, but also big scoring and quality finishing under pressure.

The Summer Grand Prix is open to players with a running average under 70.
